SGB came to us in 2003 because visitor numbers to their site were low, and enquiries even lower. From our experience in the building products market, we knew we could help.
We set a target, forecasting that our new website for SGB would achieve 5,000 visitors a month and 50 enquiries a month, within six months. In fact, we were way past those targets within half the time, and our search engine optimisation service had propelled SGB to the top of Google under a number of key generic terms.
For commercial reasons we cannot tell you what the figures are now, except to say they've gone from strength to strength.
The site, developed in consultation with SGB staff in Surrey, at the company's European head office, is powered by our NetBuild CMS and targets 17 countries in Europe and Asia.
We also developed the company's intranet, which is powered by Immediacy CMS and supports around 100 operating centres across these countries, and meet regularly with the SGB team to plan future web strategy and development projects.
